The dates of NORVIS 2026 are 1st – 8th August.

Locations are close together so we have opportunities for formal and informal activities involving all players. The school site has lovely grounds and  there is magnificent countryside on the doorstep.

(Please note that the majority of bedrooms and some tuition rooms are upstairs.  Please ask our advice if mobility issues might make this difficult for you.)

  • Transport available between Darlington railway station and NORVIS.
  • Ample car parking at the school.

The pleasant market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham includes tourist attractions such as the castle remains and the Bowes Museum.  An enjoyable Wednesday afternoon out might include a trip to Durham City and the wonderful World Heritage Site of Durham Cathedral and Castle.
