The dates of NORVIS in 2022 are 30th July – 6th August. We look forward to seeing you at our new home, Barnard Castle School.

For our Golden Jubilee NORVIS 50, we move to a lovely new venue:

Barnard Castle School.

The benefits of this new venue include:
• Locations are closer together so we can operate as ‘one course’, with more opportunities for formal and informal activities involving all players.
• No hills between classes! A more accessible and comfortable building, where we can welcome participants with some mobility problems – ask for details.
• Beautiful surroundings, lovely gardens, next door to the Bowes Museum (where we expect to have some performances) and plenty of parking.
• Transport available to and from Darlington railway station (details to follow).

You can see more about the school on the BCS website.

The pleasant market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham includes tourist attractions such as the castle remains and the Bowes Museum.  An enjoyable Wednesday afternoon out might include a trip to Durham City and the wonderful World Heritage Site of Durham Cathedral and Castle.
