You apply online to NORVIS from this page, giving information about yourself and which tuition study and other options you would like to take at NORVIS. We ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit straight after you book. Later on, we may ask you more questions to help you get the most out of NORVIS. Full fees are due by 1st June 2026. If you are hoping to qualify for a NORVIS Bursary, you can apply for that as part of the main application process.
AGE RANGE We are always delighted to welcome participants across a wide range of ages. The minimum age to take part in NORVIS is 18 years old on the first day of the course.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE FROM NORVIS We ask you to arrive and register with us on the first Saturday of the course, 1st August, between 15.00 and 17.00. Please let us know if you expect to arrive later. Departure on the final Saturday, 8th August, is after breakfast – and you should expect to leave by 10.00. (You can, of course, leave earlier in the morning, should you need to.)
WHO IS NORVIS AIMED AT? Please note that NORVIS is not aimed at beginners at an instrument and we no longer run ‘foundation’ classes. The Trustees of NORVIS reserve the right to decline an application where they think that the applicant may not be suited to the course (e.g. where an applicant would be best having beginner tuition, first, elsewhere).
ACCESSIBILITY We aim to make NORVIS as physically accessible as possible at our venue. Some wheelchair access facilities are available. Please contact us to discuss any specific needs you have.
FILLING IN YOUR APPLICATION When you are ready, fill in the application form. When you are on the form, you may need to SCROLL UP or DOWN to see each section, especially after SECTION 4, depending on the device you are using. If you get an error message when filling in the form, please contact us and we will do our best to sort out the problem or take your application by another means.
