Online Application is now available for NORVIS 50 – Golden Jubilee course, 1st-8th August 2020 at Barnard Castle School, County Durham.
The music list has been published and the course fees.
We would love to receive your application as soon as you are able to make it.
We will mark the 500th anniversary of the meeting of King Francis I of France and King Henry VIII of England at the Field of the Cloth of Gold, a suitable antecedent for NORVIS’s own golden anniversary.
London Festival of Early Music
If you can get there, do go to the wonderful London Festival of Early Music at Blackheath, organised by our good friends at the Early Music Shop. Hurry to get advance price tickets before the show opens on Thursday.
Meanwhile, NORVIS online booking will commence this week to coincide with the festival.
Our 2019 Gallery of photos is in place, as is a summary of the wonderful week that was NORVIS XLIX. Do write to us with your memories, if you wish, adding them to Facebook or sending them direct and we’ll try to add them.

Now that our wonderful NORVIS XLIX week is complete, ending with the Friday concert, our photo gallery is up and running as a lovely way to remember the week or to show you what goes on at NORVIS to encourage you to come next year.
