You apply to NORVIS online from this page, giving a range of details about yourself and which main tuition study you would like to take at NORVIS. We will upload the 2021 Music List as soon as we can – the 2020 Music List is available on the Music page but some changes are likely.
At a later stage, we will ask you more about the other options from the wide range of activities on offer. We will also give you more information relating to keeping the course COVID-secure. We will tell you later a revised deadline to pay the balance of fees. When you apply, we ask you to pay a deposit.
We offer an Early-bird reduction in fees to those who book before 1st April 2021 (we are extending this date), as well as a reduction to those recent NORVIS attendees who introduce a new participant to the course.
The online booking form for NORVIS 50 (31st July-7th August 2021) will now accept bookings. Click on the form below to start.
Of all the early music summer schools which I’ve attended, my favourite has been NORVIS, because of the variety of activities on offer.
We are always delighted to welcome participants across a wide range of ages. Young people aged 16 or 17 need parental consent and those aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note, however, that NORVIS is not aimed at young children or complete beginners. NORVIS also offers generous bursaries to assist young people, students, the unwaged and others, at the committee’s discretion, to help pay the tuition fees.
